These drawings on paper, made between 2017 and 2023, rethink women’s relationship to space through colour, texture, and interpolation. Using personal photographic archives as a starting point, the works draw out marginal lives and histories, aspiring to the counter-archive. The idea of a photograph as a bildungsroman or rite of passage also runs through these works.
